Hi, I’m Siddharth.
In case you’re wondering, The ‘Warren’ in the blog title comes from Malazan Book of the Fallen books by Steven Erikson. It means a realm from which mages, priests, shamans, and the like, who might use magic, drew their power. It is a dimension/place with a distinct geography which may have inhabitants and is ruled by a God. This blog is my realm.
I work in IT. When I’m not working or sleeping , I am a voracious bookworm who likes to shamelessly advertise his favorite books. My favorite genre is obviously fantasy but I read every type of fiction. I also love playing fantasy and sci-fi based video games. In my remaining free time, I watch some shows and movies as well.
One of the things I’m most proud about is being a personal librarian for my family and friends. They usually come to me for book suggestions and I suggest and/or brow beat them into reading books which I think they’ll enjoy and more often than not, they end up loving them.
With this blog, my aim is to review the books, games etc which had an impact on me (positive or negative) and maybe help someone else find their next favorite book. From time to time, I also plan to use it as a medium to channel my inner rants or musings about my life in general.
